1883 is headed to Paramount Network this summer. After being released as a Paramount+ exclusive, viewers will now see the entire limited series on the cable network. There are 10 episodes of the Taylor Sheridan series.

Starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, Audie Rick, Marc Rissmann, Eric Nelsen, and James Landry Hebert, the historical drama is a prequel to Yellowstone. It shows a post-Civil war generation of the Dutton family as they leave Tennessee and head west to make a new life for themselves.

Another prequel, titled 1923, follows the next generation of Duttons during the challenging time of Prohibition, drought, and the start of the Great Depression. It stars Helen Mirren, Harrison Ford, Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Isabel May, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Michelle Randolph, and Timothy Dalton. It debuted on Paramount+ earlier this year and has been renewed for a second season.

The streaming service plans to continue the franchise with a series titled Lawmen: Bass Reeves, starring David Oyelowo. Initially, the streaming service announced the Bass Reeves series as the second season of 1883.

Paramount Network released a teaser for the 1883 event, which will begin on June 18th. Check that out below.
