“#10 Shortest ‘Bachelor’ Relationships — Who Called It Quits The Fastest?”

ABC
However, there have also been a handful of Bachelor relationships that have straight up crashed and burned. Whether it was falling in love for another woman, realizing they weren’t ready to compromise, or something in between, we’ve watched countless romances end.
Check out the gallery above to see the 10 Bachelor couples who called it quits the fastest. And, just for reference, we’re only counting the relationships that were established during the finale (so Madison Prewett and Peter Weber’s two-day love affair doesn’t count).

Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft
Fans of The Bachelor know all too well about Jason’s failed engagement to Melissa. Following the Season 13 finale — in which Jason proposed to Melissa — he realized he still had feelings for his runner-up, Molly Malaney. Producers decided to move up the taping of the After the Final Rose and even chose to have a closed set. All in all, Jason and Melissa’s relationship lasted for one measly month.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Becca Kufrin
Much like the aforementioned Jason, Arie proposed to Becca and then realized he was still in love with his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. Arie and Becca’s breakup was filmed in January 2018 — and then subsequently aired two months later — clocking in their relationship at about two months.

Peter Weber and Hannah Ann Sluss
Let’s be honest, Peter’s season was one hot mess. The commercial pilot proposed to Hannah Ann in November 2019, but the couple decided to end their engagement in January 2020 after it was revealed he still had feelings for a slew of other women (two of them being Madison Prewett and Kelley Flanagan).

Bob Guiney and Estella Gardinier
Bob and Estella didn’t get engaged during the Season 4 finale, but he did give her a promise ring. Despite trying to make it work, these two only lasted three months.

Lorenzo Borghese and Jennifer Wilson
After not proposing during the Season 9 finale, Lorenzo and Jennifer tried to make their relationship work post-show. However, they called it quits after around three months together.

Jesse Palmer and Jessica Bowlin
Jesse and Jessica only managed to make their relationship work for four months, as they ended things one month after their finale aired.

Travis Stork and Sarah Stone
Travis and Sarah didn’t get engaged during the Season 8 finale, so it was no surprise to fans when they called it quits just one week after their finale aired. All in all, they were together for four months.

Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas
Though they did get engaged in July 2008 on the finale of The Bachelor: London Calling, Matt and Shayne had a rocky relationship. They fought off split rumors for a while but only managed to make it five months.

Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff
Whitney seemed ready to pack up her things and move to Chris’s farm in Iowa when the couple got engaged during the Season 19 finale, but that simply wasn’t the case. In fact, the pair ended their relationship in May 2015, just five months after the proposal.

ABC
Brad Womack and Emily Maynard
After picking neither woman during his first season as the Bachelor, Brad got down on one knee and proposed to Emily during the Season 11 finale. Though it seemed as if they each had found their happy ending, their relationship was over just five months later.
