#Zero’s Tea Time Debuts April 2022, Reveals Key Visual & Animation Staff

Detective Conan: Zero’s Tea Time has revealed a new key visual and scheduled premiere on Netflix this coming April. The broadcasting and streaming of the Detective Conan spinoff is currently limited to Japan, with news about a worldwide release still to be determined. 

RAKURA will be singing the anime’s opening theme song “Shooting Star.” Meanwhile, Rainy will sing the ending theme “Find the truth.”

TMS Entertainment is handling animation production for the series. Tomochi Kosaka (ReLIFE) is directing the anime, Yoshiko Nakamura (Sasaki and Miyano) is writing the series scripts, and Chie Saitou (22/7) serves as chief animation supervisor. Kyouko Yoshimi (Aikatsu Friends!) is handling character designs and helping Saitou with animation supervision. Musical duo TOMISIRO (Isekai Shokudou 2) is scoring the anime’s music. 

Along with Zero’s Tea Time, another spinoff titled Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa also received news of an anime adaptation last October. Additionally, Great Detective Conan: Police Academy Volume Wild Police Story also had its story adapted in the main series last December. 

Netflix describes Zero’s Tea Time as: 

Sometimes he is the famed detective Kogoro Mori’s younger brother, Toru Amuro. Other times he is Rei Furuya, a police officer protecting Japan. Still other times he is Bourbon, a man clad in black. No one knows the private life of the man who wears three faces…or so it was thought. The simple everyday life of Toru Amuro, a man cloaked in light and shadow, is revealed here.
