#Zenless Zone Zero’s Jane Doe Gets Short Animation

Hoyoverse has released a Zenless Zone Zero short animation titled “A Frightful Night,” which features the character Jane Doe.

The animation begins in the aftermath of the slaughter of a criminal group, with Jane facing down its last survivor. The criminal attempts to flee after being easily disarmed, but her attempts at shaking off Jane, who delightedly toys with her prey and is depicted as a demonic entity at certain points, are utterly futile.

The video’s description reads:

“The suspect seems to have suffered some mental trauma.” “Not to worry. Give her some hot water to calm her nerves.”

Jane made her debut in Zenless Zone Zero on September 4. The S-Rank Physical Anomaly character is currently part of the Exclusive Channel “No Match Found,” which runs until September 24 at 2:59:59 (server time), with a boosted Signal Search reception rate. According to the lore, she is a criminal behavior expert with the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team who “excels in disguise and imitation, making people question where her true self lies.”

Zenless Zone Zero was released on iOS, Android, PC, and PS5 on July 4. Hoyoverse describes the stylish, free-to-play “urban fantasy” action RPG as:

Distinguished Proxy,

This is a dangerous world under constant threat from the mysterious calamities known as the “Hollows”, where the old civilization has been destroyed and world order lays in ruins. Fortunately, one city is still capable of dealing with the calamities: New Eridu.

A diverse group of people, each with their various reasons and beliefs gather here to challenge the Hollows.

And you, are their indispensable accomplice who guides them out of the Hollows, their “Proxy”.

This is your story.
