YoungBoy Never Broke Again is starting his year with the first of what is sure to be many, many albums today (January 6) as he drops I Rest My Case. The 19-track project is YoungBoy’s first of the year and features the single “Black.” A video for that song, which matches the energy of the scorched-out beat with visuals of a wild house party, can be seen above.

I Rest My Case is YoungBoy’s first release on new label Motown Records. The Baton Rouge rapper released six projects in 2022, five solo efforts and a collaborative mixtape with DaBaby (Better Than You). Four of those solo albums; No.1 hit The Last Slimeto, Realer 2, 3800 Degrees, and Ma I Got a Family, were released in the space of the last four months of the year.
