#Billie Eilish slams Texas abortion laws during concert

Billie Eilish is trashing Texas lawmakers she sees as the bad guys.

The “Happier Than Ever” singer slammed Texas’ abortion laws during a concert in Austin on Saturday, saying she was “sick and tired of old men” who she said were responsible for restrictive legislation that took effect last month.

Performing at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the 19-year-old “Bad Guy” singer called the legislation — which went into effect Sept. 1 and bans most abortions — a “s–t” law and raised her middle finger before declaring, “My body, my f–king choice,” Eilish can be seen telling the cheering audience in a clip posted to Twitter on Saturday.

“When they made that s–t a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show. so, because I wanted to punish this f–king place for allowing that to happen here,” “Bad Guy” singer Eilish said. “But then I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f–king victims, and you deserve everything in the world. And we need to tell them to shut the f–k up!”

Eilish made the declarations onstage in front of a video screen with images calling for “bans off our bodies.”

Eilish previously sounded off against restrictive abortion laws last month in an Instagram Stories post.

“Makes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women’s rights,” she wrote, according to the Independent, which said the rant included an image that read: “If you and your ‘homies’ or bros’ aren’t talking about the abortion laws in Texas, chances are you’re part of a problem.”

The new Texas law — which prohibits women from getting an abortion after a fetal heartbeat can be detected and lets citizens sue doctors who help terminate pregnancies — was been slapped with a lawsuit by the Biden administration on Friday. Last month, a Texas doctor, Alan Baird, was the first abortion provider who was sued for allegedly violating the new law.
