In addition to the previously announced Chiaki Kobayashi as the protagonist Yu Ominae, the official website for the forthcoming new anime adaptation of Hiroshi Takashige (story) and Ryouji Minagawa (art)’s sci-fi action shonen manga Spriggan has revealed three more voice cast members – Yohei Azakami (Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma in Kuromukuro) as a French Spriggan operator, Jean Jacquemonde, Kenji Hamada (Dobu in ODDTAXI) as Head of the ARCAM Corporation’s Japanese branch, Yamamoto, and Mariya Ise (Killua Zoldyck in Hunter x Hunter) as a notorious ruin vandal targeting heritage sites around the world for money, Yoshino Somei.

There are many things that make Spriggan fascinatingg, such as the unique characters and the story about a super ancient civilization, but I personally think the biggest attraction is the cool battle scenes of Yu wearing ARCAM’s latest weapons. I’m also looking forward to seeing how the battle scenes, which I couldn’t see during the voice recording, will be animated. Please look forward to it!
