Yen Press has announced the license of the Boys Love fantasy light novel You Can Have My Back as part of its Summer 2023 lineup. The light novel is known for its beautiful illustrations and heartbreaking drama and will be made available via the Yen On imprint.

The first volume of You Can Have My Back will be available in print and digital format in July 2023.

The original story is written by Minami Kotsuna and illustrated by Hitomi Hitoyo. Kadokawa published the first volume in Japan in March 2021 as part of its Ruby Collection. The fifth volume was released on September 30, 2022. 

Yen Press describes the story of You Can Have My Back as: 

Leorino, fourth son of a margrave and blessed with the face of an angel, is the reincarnation of Ionia, a knight of the kingdom who died in the line of duty.
