The track is available as a free download on SoundCloud. JL took to Instagram to share that he will “start putting my beats on there soon,” and teased new music from Year of the Ox.
Over the weekend, the Korean-American hip hop duo asked their followers which track from their latest self-titled album needs a music video, prompting excited replies from fans, including AWKWAFINA, who requested “BLACK MIRROR.”
The 14-track YEAR OF THE OX includes features from nafla, Rekstizzy, DJ Zo, AXELBLOODYAXEL, and MIKNNA. It includes their 2019 track, “The Twilight Zone.”
In other Squid Game news, Dumbfoundead discussed the breakout Netflix hit with his co-hosts Steffie Baik and Year of the Ox’s Rick Lee a.k.a. LYRICKS, about the experience of watching the Korean show with the English dub on, which Dumbfoundead described as “wack.”
