KAZÉ Anime recently announced that the anime series «Yashahime» will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in Germany.

The publisher was able to acquire the disc rights to the spin-off series based on the anime classic “InuYasha» secure and plans to release them later this year. Concrete details on the release period of «Yashahime» on DVD and Blu-ray as well as possible extras of the disc release are not yet known.

«Yashahime» is created in Studio SUNRISE

For the anime adaptation of «Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon» the Japanese animation studio SUNRISE is responsible. The anime series is being created there, directed by Teruo Sato. «InuYasha»-Creator Rumiko Takashi is on board and acts as a supervisor.

The first season consists of 24 episodes and ran on Japanese television between October 2020 and March 2021. The second season of «Yashahime» in Japan.
