Manga duo Akira Himekawa are known for their amazing work adapting Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series, and now their art will be on full display in an upcoming exhibition called Akira Himekawa Original Drawings – A Look Back at the Manga “The Legend of Zelda”. Around 200 works—including a bunch of original paintings—will be featured at the Kyoto International Manga Museum from September 18 to December 26, giving fans a unique opportunity to look back at the manga and pick up special goods.

The team started adapting the games with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which Shogakukan first published in 1999. They’ve since covered a wide range of entries, most recently with a manga based on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and VIZ Media publishes English editions of their works in North America.

As for the goods, exhibition catalogs will be sold at the venue, and there will also be clear files and postcards using the main visuals created for the event.
