#Woman arrested for near-subway shove has history of transit attacks

The woman arrested Saturday for nearly shoving a 22-year-old man onto the subway tracks at Times Square has been booked seven times since June 25, police sources said — including for several assaults on mass transit.

Brianna Randolph allegedly came up from behind her victim at around 8 a.m. Saturday on the northbound NQR train platform at 42nd Street and Broadway and pushed him for no reason, according to police.

The attack could be seen on surveillance video and Randolph was arrested at 34th Street-Herald Square station about eight hours later, police said.

She was charged with assault and reckless endangerment and remains in custody pending arraignment.

Randolph has been arrested twenty times since 2012, including seven times so far in 2021 — once for grand larceny on July 25 and six more for assaults, according to police sources.

Randolph has a lengthy record of transit assaults, according to sources.

Her first booking for assault came on July 14, when she allegedly attacked and injured someone in Midtown. She is accused of six attacks since — including a July 28 hate crime. “Multiple” of Randolph’s other attacks occurred on transit, sources said.

Before June, her last arrest was Sept. 15, 2020 — one of a string of non-violent arrests going back to May 30, 2012.
