A new anime movie based on the The Seven Deadly Sins manga series has been announced. Titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light, the movie will premiere in Summer 2021 and features an original new story by The Seven Deadly Sins mangaka Nakaba Suzuki.
Plot details were not revealed, aside from a sentence that roughly translates to, “The most evil sinners who saved the world gather on the screen again!!”
Netflix describes the series as:
When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm.
