Hollywood is taking one last stab at Michael Myers . . . for now.

Universal Pictures debuted a teaser trailer Tuesday for the third and final film of the “Halloween” sequel franchise starring Jamie Lee Curtis — who has been playing Laurie Strode since 1978.

In the trailer, Curtis, 63, is shown pointing a gun at the infamous Myers and then saying, “Come on, let’s go,” before the trailer cuts to Myers slamming her on a table.

John Carpenter, who directed the original “Halloween” film, said that the newest installment, directed by David Gordon Green, is a “departure” from the previous films.

“You’ll see it’s a departure from the others. It’s interesting. Dave is a really good director. I love working with him,” said the 74-year-old icon.

The film’s producer, Jason Blum, teased in June that he had seen a rough cut of the horror flick and that it will rile up fans.

“It’s very good. I’m very excited. We have a few little things to fix on it and finish, but I’m very excited for our last ‘Halloween’ movie,” Blum said.

“I didn’t say it’s gonna be the last ‘Halloween’ movie. It’s our last ‘Halloween’ movie. We have no more rights to make any more ‘Halloween’ . . . but we are done. And this is our last one, and I think people will be very happy.”

Universal has debuted the teaser trailer for the final "Halloween" sequel on July 20, 2022.

Back in February, Curtis shared a photo on Instagram from her last day on the set, calling it a “bittersweet” day.”

“The last thing I ever thought I would do is another ‘Halloween’ movie five years ago,” Curtis told People in March.

“And then now I’ve made three of them. They have been incredibly well-received. People love them. This last movie is very emotional, deeply emotional.”

The film is slated to hit theaters on October 14, 2022.

Curtis also revealed that she cried on the last day of filming.

“I’m a sobber. I said goodbye to a crew of people who have been so generous to me, who were so warm and loving to me. Because Laurie Strode had the ‘S’ kicked out of her — she emotionally had so much going on, this sweet girl — and they were always there. It was hard to say goodbye to them,” the “Freaky Friday” actress said.

“Halloween Ends” is slated to slice its way into theaters on October 14, 2022.
