The widow of a slain NYPD sergeant has urged cops to “not back down” and “keep fighting” amid nationwide clashes between protesters and police.

Lisa Tuozzolo– whose husband Paul was fatally shot in the head chasing down an ex-con in The Bronx in 2016 — spoke at a pro-police gathering of about 1,000 people at a park in East Meadow, LI, on Saturday, the Long Island Press reported.

“We will keep fighting,” the widow told the group gathered for an event for the nonprofit Long Enforcement Officers Weekend, which helps families of officers killed or hurt in the line of duty.

“Do not back down. Keep fighting,” Tuozzolo said.

The widow added to TV’s “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Sunday that it is “so vitally important that we make sure that our officers know how much they are cared about and how much we appreciate them and how much we really support them.”

Referring to outcry over the racially charged police-brutality death of George Floyd and other alleged instances of cop wrongdoing, Tuozzolo said, “Like in any profession, there are bad people.”

But there are also “good people in law enforcement, and they should not be punished for the actions of others,” she said.

Protests over racial injustice have rocked the nation for weeks, including in Portland, Ore., where rioters ripped down a fence around the federal courthouse early Sunday and launched “mortar-style fireworks” at federal agents fighting to keep them back.

In Austin, Texas, an armed Black Lives Matter protester was shot dead late Saturday by a driver who had just plowed his car into marchers.
