If you are wondering why there will not be another season of 13 Reasons Why after that Season 4 finale on Netflix, you’re not alone!

Many fans who were quick to binge all episodes of 13 Reasons Why Season 4 want to know why there aren’t more episodes ahead. Unfortunately, Season 4 is the final one. Even though you may have known this already, we don’t blame you for being curious.

The final season does leave viewers with some questions still and several fans didn’t feel comfortable with the way things wrapped. Still, Netflix seems to be sticking to its decision that Season 4 is the last we’ll see of the 13 Reasons Why crew.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Brian Yorkey shared that he knew this would be a four-season story while working on Season 2. Yorkey wanted 13 Reasons Why to mirror a high school experience by giving it one season per high school year.

Though some fans do wish there were more episodes, there are also haters who believe there should have never been more than one season! I have to agree. There are several story points and stories that I appreciate in seasons 2-4, but, for the most part, I believe Season 1 did its job just fine and it should have continued with the stories of other people.

Instead of adding to the characters, we meet in Season 1, why not share the experiences of others. How do you feel about it?
