#Where the Cast is Today

“Where the Cast is Today”

The Wolverine, the sixth installment in the X-Men movie franchise, was released in 2013. At the time, it was only the second movie in the movie series that centered on Wolverine, which was inspired by comic books released in the 1980s. The Wolverine began development in 2009 and takes place after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand. The series would conclude six years later when Logan was released, but when The Wolverine came out, it was both praised and criticized for its direction. One very aspect unique about the movie, however, is the fact that it proves itself capable of passing the Bechdel Test —making it a solid form of representation for women in superhero movies.
Some may only remember from The Wolverine the prowess of lead actor Hugh Jackman, who became well-remembered and popular for his portrayal of the beloved comic book character. Yet another unique aspect of the movie is that it featured an international cast, having Asian-American, Japanese, Dutch, and Russian actors in its lead roles. Many cast members have gone on to have very successful careers, not just Jackman, even if they did not continue acting in Hollywood. With that said, here is where the cast is today.

In 2015, she made a guest appearance on the television series Hannibal for four episodes, then, a year later, appeared in Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice.
