#What Does Fasting Really Do For You?

The biggest mistake most people who try fasting make, is thinking: Because they’re fasting, they’ll automatically lose fat.

Ehhrrrrt! Not exactly.

Fasting IS NOT Magic

You still have to adhere to the most basic laws of thermodynamics and fat loss: If you want to lose fat, you have to be in a caloric deficit.

And you can definitely mess that up with overeating, even if you fast. People do this all the time.

Skipping breakfast doesn’t give you a free pass to eat whatever you want for the rest of the day. Plus, pizza, chocolate and ice-cream aren’t a good replacement for a fasted meal anyway.

Listen, we’re a huuuuuge proponent of fasting. It allows you to maintain single digit body fat almost year ’round without feeling deprived or as though life is ruled by food.

But most importantly, if you learn how to do it properly… you can get lean WITHOUT ever feeling like you’re on a diet.

What Can Fasting Do For You?

Men, who never thought it was possible for them to get a six-pack, are getting leaner with less effort then ever before!

Intermittent Fasting is a tremendously important tool for change. But, in reality, fasting is just a way to manipulate your meal frequency, to achieve higher levels of SATIETY.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

That’s where Intermittent Fasting (done right) will seem like magic, because…

Fasting helps tremendously with feeling less hungry and fuller on less calories, making it easier and simpler to stick to a caloric deficit for weeks on end (the key to fat loss is consistency).

Fasting & Feelings Of Hunger

Everybody who’s ever tried to lose fat knows, just how painful nagging, persistent hunger can be.

In fact, feeling hungry and deprived are the most common reasons for binging and spinning your wheels or even for abandoning the goal of getting lean altogether!

And I understand why….I mean…Who wants to deal with hunger 24/7?

If you’re fasting to lose fat, calories STILL count. Never forget that and make sure you’re eating in a deficit, without starving yourself.
