#Valorant Update 3.01 – Patch Notes, All Details

Valorant’s Patch 3.01 is now available, and the following is a detailed breakdown of the new features and fixes included in this update. Although Act 3 has only recently begun, Riot Games has already released the first patch with bug fixes following the start of the new season!

3.01 Patch Notes

AGENTS
  • While some missiles are in the air, Sages can no longer position Barrier Orb on them.
  • Rectified a bug where Skye was able to trigger the flash of Guiding Light while suppressed.
  • Fixed the skill to heal KAY/O during NULL/CMD down.
  • When flying through the air, Sova’s Recon Bolt projectile no longer appears to be deployed for opponents.
SOCIAL
  • Resolved a bug where you could imitate system messages by abusing text chat colors.
  • In Custom Games, a bug was fixed where the invite toggle UI covered the Defender Coach UI.
  • If you had the “Use Generic Names for Players Outside my Party” configuration turned on, names would show up as question marks.
PROGRESSION
  • Resolved alignment issues in Observer view.
  • Resolved a problem with account leveling where some of you were given a lower level than you expected.
  • If you’re affected, you’ll get your appropriate Account Level and maintain the AP you earned while playing at the wrong level.
  • Account leveling problems on the End of Game screen have been resolved.

As mentioned earlier, this update mainly addresses a couple of Agent-related bugs. A number of concerns with text chat colors and the invite toggle UI in custom matches have also been addressed in this update. Lastly, this update resolves a few issues related to account leveling and other concerns with advancement.
