“Western Puyo Puyo Game Kirby’s Avalanche Heads to Nintendo Switch Online”

Nintendo is releasing a trio of classic games onto the Nintendo Switch Online service today, including the Super Puyo Puyo reskin Kirby’s Avalanche (known as Kirby’s Ghost Trap in Europe) and Fighter’s History on the SNES, while the NES service is getting the previously Japan-exclusive Daiva Story 6: Imperial of Nirsartia.
Nintendo has also graciously given western fans a code to jump straight into the game. The code is in Japanese and reads “たたかう,” which means Fight in Japanese.

For those that have the Japanese Nintendo Switch Online service, instead of getting Kirby’s Avalanche, which was only made for the western market, they’ll be getting the SNES version of Kirby’s Star Stacker, which was only released in Japan. The other two games remain the same.
