Zach Wilson and Robert Saleh will make their official debuts when they travel to Charlotte to face the Panthers on Sunday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. ET.

After an abysmal 2-14 season in 2020, the Jets are hoping their first season under new coach Saleh with rookie QB Wilson can begin a much-needed culture change. The Jets have four new offensive starters (two of whom are rookies) and have a new kicker in Matt Ammendola in addition to signing defensive end Shaq Lawson.

Sam Darnold will face his former team for the first time since being traded and will be aided by fellow ex-Jet Robby Anderson. Carolina will also be bringing back running back Christian McCaffrey, who missed most of last season because of multiple injuries.
