#Water Polo-themed Original TV Anime RE-MAIN Announces July 3, 2021 Premiere

Along with a new key visual featuring the seven members of Yamanami High’s water polo club, the official website for the forthcoming original TV anime RE-MAIN has announced that it is set to premiere on TV Asahi network’s “NUMAnimation” programming block on July 3, 2021. 

Also, three more additional voice cast are announced – Yuma Uchida as Riku Momosaki, the ace of Shogakukan High School’s water polo club, Taku Yashiro as Keita Kikihana and Shun Miyazato as Koki Toguchi, the protagonist Minato’s teammates in junior high.

Masafumi Nishida, best known as the series composition writer for the TV anime Tiger & Bunny, serves as the original story writer, general director, series composition writer, screenplay writer for all episodes, and sound director. Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kumamiko) is attached to direct, MAPPA (Yuri!!! on ICE) works on production. 

Story introduction:

The protagonist is Minato Kiyomizu, who quit playing water polo in the winter of his third year of junior high school after an incident. He enters a high school and one promise leads to him starting playing water polo with the friends he met there. However, the weak and small water polo club is faced with a variety of difficulties…
