Newly released footage shows the two men sought in connection to the broad-daylight stabbing that seriously wounded a volunteer for Eric Adams’ mayoral campaign over the weekend.

The suspected attacker — shown in surveillance video released by cops Monday wearing a red bandanna — knifed the 42-year-old victim several times on Morris Avenue near East 151st Street around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.

He continued to stab him even while he was on the ground, sources said.

An ice pick and a knife were later found at the scene.

Following the brutal attack, the suspect fled on foot southbound on Morris Avenue, accompanied by another man.

The victim, who was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center, was out of surgery for a punctured lung Sunday night and is in stable condition, sources said.

Speaking on CNN’s “New Day” Monday morning, the Democratic front-runner said the volunteer is “doing fine” and is “out of surgery.”

“We visited him, and I spoke with him at the hospital, and the video was just horrific,” Adams said. “Someone came up behind him and repeatedly stabbed him.”

When asked whether the attack was related to the victim’s work on the campaign, the former police officer said, “We don’t know, and hopefully not.”

“The police department’s conducting a thorough investigation,” Adams said. “The video was there, and that’s why it’s so important to use technology to add another layer on public protection in the city.”

In addition to the bandanna, the stabbing suspect wore a white tank top, camouflage shorts, red sneakers and a black and gray backpack, cops said.

His alleged accomplice was last seen wearing a gray sweater with the word “Privileged” on the front, beige pants and red and white sneakers.

The victim has nearly 50 prior arrests, sources said.
