Even 1,000-pound predators need self-care.

An adorable video is making the rounds of a plump brown bear frolicking in a lavish bubble bath on a hot summer day, courtesy of the Denver Zoo’s Facebook page.

“It’s a big bubble bath for a big bear!” wrote the Colorado institution’s animal keepers, who decided to pamper their female grizzly named Tundra with a metal stock tank filled with foam.

Judging by the one-minute clip posted Tuesday, she appeared to enjoy her makeshift tub — a hot commodity among hipsters in need of a quarantine cooldown. After tentatively scouting out the edges for several seconds, Tundra takes the plunge into the pool, where she inquisitively bats at the bubbles like an overgrown infant.

“This type of enrichment is particularly fun because it encourages Tundra to investigate, and to cool off on hot summer days like today!” wrote the keepers on Facebook.

Needless to say, the fizz-loving griz has made a splash on social media.

“Very thoughtful and creative! You love your bear!” gushed one Facebook fan of the ursine kiddie pool.

“She’s becoming my favorite,” said another of Tundra, who was adopted by the Denver Zoo after being orphaned as a cub in the early 2000s.

“Can’t wait to get a chance to come see Tundra in person,” commented one excited fur fan.

It appears they’ll get their wish. The Denver Zoo reopened its doors for business last week, after being closed since mid-March over coronavirus concerns.

In the interim, they’ve been entertaining animal lovers with adorable vids such as this one, which offers a donation link for faraway fans to contribute to the organization.

Unfortunately, other zoos have contemplated drastic measures to stem financial losses suffered during COVID-19 lockdown. A zoo in Wales, UK, said last month that they may have to euthanize their animals to prevent them from starving to death, and one German park even considered feeding its attractions to each other.
