In Tokyo on May 6, the upcoming new TV anime project Love Live! Superstar!!‘s five-member voice actress unit Liella! held an online event to celebrate the release of their debut single “Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora” (The Beginning is Your Sky) in Tokyo.

The single was released from Lantis in Japan on April 7, 2021, then ranked second in Oricon’s weekly single charts. The special event, titled “Hajimari wa Minna no Sora” (The Beginning is Everyone’s Sky), was held without an audience and streamed only online due to the third declaration of a state of emergency issued on April 25.

The Love Live! franchise’s official YouTube channel is now streaming a five-and-half minute performance clip of “Hajimari wa Kimi no Sora” from the event. Check out their first stage performance of the song in the clip below!

As the fourth project from the Love Live! franchise, the TV anime Love Live! Superstar!! is set to premiere on NHK in July 2021. Takahiko Kyogoku, who worked on the first Love Live! anime series returns to the director’s chair.
