#Watch Harry Styles and Blood Orange Perform “Watermelon Sugar” to Kick Off Grammys 2021

Harry Styles kicked off the 2021 Grammy Awards tonight with a performance of his song “Watermelon Sugar.” Among his band members was Devonté Hynes (on bass), who also musically directed the performance. Styles was also joined by back up singers, a saxophone player, trumpeter, and more. Watch it happen below.

Styles was nominated for his first three Grammy Awards this year: His sophomore LP Fine Line is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album alongside Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, and Taylor Swift. “Watermelon Sugar” is up for Best Pop Solo Performance. “Adore You” was up for Best Music Video but lost to Beyoncé’s “BROWN SKIN GIRL.”

Devonté Hynes got one nomination at the 2021 Grammys: Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance for Fields. The Grammy went to Pacifica Quartet.
