#Watch a kitten get busted on video trying to steal cash from a bar 

A petty thief in Russia might just be the cutest perp-paw-trator in viral-video history.

At a bar in Anapa, a kitten was caught not once but twice making off with a stack of cash. Both attempts were captured on security footage inside the pub, in the southwestern region of Krasnodar Krai, according to a Daily Star report.

The pub’s owner, Nadezhda Vodolazskaya, 37, said the kitten’s first attempt was thwarted by a good Samaritan who snatched the wad of bills from its inadequate grips.

“Claw” enforcement was not called to the scene.

The footage was released through the bar’s Instagram page earlier this week.

During another incident shared Wednesday, the owners of the USSR-themed bar found the felonious feline going through a stash of cash, but had to laugh it off. The loot was actually a vintage suitcase full of rubles, the voided currency of the Soviet Union.

Plus, the scamp, named Masyanya, was soon thwarted by the urge to play.

Vodolazskaya adopted the cat several weeks ago after finding the street urchin abandoned inside a box. “I’m not quite sure why the kitten is such a big fan of money but we’ll definitely keep an eye on her from now on and keep the cash box locked,” she said.

In May, a rhesus macaque was able to do a lot more damage to an ATM in New Delhi. Security footage shows the primate ripping off the front casing of the cash machine, although no money was taken. Just how the monkey managed to break in to the locked State Bank of India remains a mystery.
