Being punished for partying without a mask and losing a crucial game days later marked “the hardest week of my life,” Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins told reporters Sunday, adding that he needs to “get my life together.”

In what may have been his last game with the franchise, the 2019 first-round pick threw two interceptions and was benched for journeyman Taylor Heinicke in the fourth quarter of a 20-13 loss to the Panthers.

The defeat cost Washington (6-9) a chance to clinch the division, setting up a Week 17 in which either Washington, the Giants or Dallas can win the woebegone division and a trip to the playoffs despite finishing with a below .500 record.

Four days earlier, Haskins was fined $40,000 and stripped of his captaincy after images and videos showed him partying without a mask in what appeared to be a strip club.

“Definitely the hardest week of my life,” a dispirited Haskins told reporters. “I just want to bounce back and move forward, pray and get my life together.

“You sign up for this job and sometimes being human isn’t enough.”

Washington was forced to start Haskins amid the controversy because Alex Smith was recovering from a calf injury.

Head coach Ron Rivera said he doesn’t know who will start next week’s do-or-die game against the Eagles.

Regardless, the team, according to CBS, is expected to cut ties this offseason with the former Ohio State star, who in addition to the strip club incident has been chastised for poor practice habits and immaturity.

After a mediocre rookie campaign, Haskins began the season as the starter but was relegated to the bench after just four games, and then requested a trade to no avail. In October he was fined just under $5,000 for inviting a family friend to the team hotel.

Last season, Haskins infamously missed the final play of his first win because the 23-year-old was taking a selfie with a fan.

Haskins, who has five passing touchdowns and seven interceptions in seven games this season, is in the second year of a four-year, $14 million rookie contract that is guaranteed.
