An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman suspected of helping torch an Atlanta Wendy’s after the death of Rayshard Brooks.

Atlanta fire investigators identified the suspect as Natalie White, 29.  She is wanted on charges of first-degree arson, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The fast-food eatery on University Avenue was set ablaze June 13 after police shot and killed Brooks in the parking lot the night before.

Two officers responded to a complaint by a Wendy’s employee that Brooks fell asleep in his car in the takeout lane. When the officers tried to handcuff Brooks on suspicion of DWI, a scuffle ensued. Brooks grabbed an officer’s stun gun and ran away. One shot him twice in the back, and has been charged with felony murder.

According to investigators, the fire was ignited by “multiple suspects” who used aerosol cans and lighters. Protesters set off several fireworks and tossed trash inside the restaurant before it caught fire, authorities said.

Cops asked anyone with information to call 404-577-TIPS or 1-800-282-5804.
