Being a damnable creature of the night is actually a rather goofy experience in a new trailer and a new key visual released for VLADLOVE, an upcoming original "vampire slapstick comedy" TV anime from the mind of Mamoru Oshii.
The story of VLADLOVE is described as follows:
Mitsugu Bamba is a high school girl who is crazy about donating her blood, to the point that she feels compelled to visit a local blood bank despite the unfriendly nurse. One day, Mitsugu encounters a beautiful girl there who looks like she has come from overseas. The girl is so pale that she appears ready to faint. Instead, she suddenly starts trashing the blood bank. The girl then loses consciousness and so Mitsugu takes her home…
VLADLOVE is directed by Mamoru Oshii and Junji Nishimura and features animation production by Ichigo Animation. The exact release date for the series has not yet been revealed, although a special edition version of the first episode will be published to Youtube on December 18, 2020.
