A new multimedia project called World Dai Star has been announced to launch in 2023. The project is centered on the theme of “theater girls” and a teaser visual featuring one of the characters has been released. 

More information about the World Dai Star project will be available on November 27, 2022 through a scheduled YouTube livestream at 7:30 PM JST (5:30 AM EST). 

The initial announcement does not reveal the type of media adaptation that will be involved in the project (e.g. anime series or film, manga, novels, etc). Manga writer Takahiro (Akame ga Kill, Yuki Yuna is a Hero, Chained Soldier) is credited with creating the original story. VTuber artist and designer Mika Pikazo is creating the original character designs. Pikazo is known for designing the VTubers Kaguya Luna and Hakos Baelz. 

The special announcement livestream program will feature a variety of voice actresses who will be participating. All are presumably expected to be cast in undisclosed roles. They include Manaka Iwami, Ikumi Hasegawa, Maria Naganawa, Shuka Saitou, Reina Kondou, and Minami Tanaka. Actress Nanako Mori will be the MC for the program.
