# Visual novel The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams announced for Switch – possibly PS5 and PC

Publisher Bushiroad Games has announced visual novel The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams for Switch. It will launch in 2025 in Japan.

The announcement comes via a teaser trailer, which features the logo, release window, and a background from the game.

However, as spotted by Twitter user Belserious, back in mid-February Bushiroad Games accidently published the YouTube premiere page for the game’s opening movie, which was planned to release on March 23. While the video itself was not viewable, the video thumbnail was:

As visible in the thumbnail, PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam) versions of The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Midsummer’s Mirage and the Journey of Dreams either are or were also planned, with a final release date of October 2 in Japan. Whether this information still holds true remains to be be seen when Bushiroad Games officially releases the opening movie.
