#VINLAND SAGA Creative Team, WIT Studio, Kinema Citrus to Attend Anime Central 2023

Illinois-based convention Anime Central has announced that staff members from animation studios WIT Studio and Kinema Citrus and the creative team behind VINLAND SAGA will be attending its 2023 event. Anime Central is scheduled to take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Hyatt Regency O’Hare from May 19, 2023 to May 21, 2023. 

The guests include character designer Takahiko Abiru, art director Yuusuke Takeda, and animation producer Naokado Fujiyama. They will be promoting the second season of VINLAND SAGA at a special panel event with exclusive contents and free giveaways. 

Anime Central had previously invited staff members who worked on the first season of Vinland Saga in 2020. Their visit was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, animation producers Kazue Hayashi and Kazuki Yamanaka will be the guests from WIT Studio, along with character designer and chief animation director Kyouji Asano

Lastly, the guests from Kinema Citrus consist of character designer Tomokatsu Nagasaku and line producer Eiichi Koshiishi. They will be showcasing the KC-Gift Animator Training Program at a special panel. The program seeks to cultivate worldwide talents interested in joining the anime production industry, regardless of age and nationality.

Other Japanese guests of honor that will be attending this year’s Anime Central convention include Japanese voice actresses Rie Tanaka, Azusa Tadokoro, Yurika Kubo, and Kana Ichinose. Veteran animator and character designer Hisayuki Tabata will also be attending the event.
