The act of gunplay unfolded just before 1 a.m. Tuesday when the unknown triggerman opened fire from the passenger side of a white four-door sedan as it rolled down Baltic Avenue near 3rd Avenue, police said.
The 50-year-old victim, who was riding a bicycle in the courtyard of NYCHA’s Wyckoff apartments, was struck in the left shoulder and back, according to cops.
He was treated at Methodist Hospital and was expected to be OK, cops said.
The drive-by comes as Gotham reels from a surge in gun violence.
As of Monday, shootings were up over the last month by 176 percent — with 199 recorded shootings compared to 72 over the same time last year.
