She broke the ice — and then the internet.

A bodacious beaver redefined the term icebreaker after dramatically smashing through a frozen pond in Saskatchewan, Canada, as seen in a video currently making a splash online.

“I knew that it was a very cool thing I caught on camera,” photographer Mike Digout told The Post of the ice-shattering footage. The self-proclaimed “wildlife enthusiast” reportedly witnessed the phenomenon while documenting a family of beavers in Saskatoon.

In the clip, the robust brown rodent — the largest in North America at up to 70 pounds — can be seen bursting through a thick sheet of ice like a submarine. However, the triumph is short-lived as the buck-toothed beast begins sliding back into the hole it created. Fortunately, the beaver is able to halt its skid by grabbing a nearby branch and hauling itself to dry ground, before disappearing back into drink with the limb.

The clip concludes with the bold beaver smashing through the ice a second time in a different part of the pond.

“I was pretty sure where she’d come through the ice because she’d come through there several times in a row,” Digout said of the Kool-Aid ad-evoking spectacle.

Capturing the moment was another story. The fotog said that beforehand he had “probably missed 20 opportunities over the course of three days” in a scenario he compared to a game of “whack-a-mole.”

It’s unlikely that beavers pulverize ice for the fun of it. “The longer they can keep the pond open the longer they can keep hoarding some food for their food cache for winter,” said Digout, who regularly posts updates on the beaver family’s activities to a Facebook page he started.
