#Video appears to show man tossing firework at homeless person in Harlem

A man was recorded tossing a live firework at another man who appeared to be asleep on a Harlem sidewalk Monday morning.

The heartless act, which occurred about 4 a.m. on Lenox Avenue near West 113th Street, left the 66-year-old victim hospitalized with minor burns, police said.

Shocking video of the incident, posted to Twitter and shared by @NYScanner, shows the firework exploding near the victim, causing a loud bang and sending flares up into the air.

“Oh!” several people on video could be heard saying as the firework goes off.

Another person in the recording could be heard faintly giggling.

Police are still investigating the incident and no arrests were made as of late Monday night.
