A van containing explosives was found in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, as the city remains on high alert over days of unrest stemming from the police shooting death of Walter Wallace Jr., according to a report.

The van was found at Logan Circle in the Center City neighborhood, WPVI reported. Police told the outlet they recovered propane tanks and torches.

A film crew with the outlet captured what appeared to be sticks of dynamite.

Philadelphia the past two nights has grappled with violent protests over the death of Wallace, who, according to police, was armed with a knife that he refused to drop when he was shot on Monday.

The unrest, which also included looting, prompted the city’s mayor to call in the state’s national guard, who are expected to arrive later this week.

Police fired 14 shots at Wallace, though police have not said how many times he was hit.

The officers involved in the killing have been taken off the street as the shooting is investigated.

On Wednesday, Philadelphia police commissioner Danielle Outlaw said the department will release bodycam footage and the audio of 911 calls made in connection to the fatal shooting.
