#Upstate road sign hacked again with anti-Trump messages

Upstate motorists greeted by pro-Trump slogans on a hacked road sign earlier this month got a radically different message over the weekend.

The electronic roadside sign on Washington Avenue in Fishkill was altered again early Sunday morning — this time flashing “F–K TRUMP,” “DEFUND THE POLICE,” and “GAY PRIDE 2021” messages, the Hudson Valley Post reported.

The sign, which is supposed to alert drivers to road construction work along the Dutchess County roadway, was spotted with the new slogan at 1:15 a.m., police told the outlet.

“The signs were turned off and we increased police in the area,” Fishkill Town Supervisor Ozzy Albra told the paper. “The signs will be removed very soon.”

The trickster behind the prank didn’t stop at national politics, also flashing “DUTCHESS CNTY CORRUPT” and a message that read, “HEYY GURLL HAYYY,” the outlet reported.

The same sign made headlines on Oct. 14 when a local resident took snapshots of the sign with messages reading “TRUMP 2020 MAGA !!!” and “CUOMO KILLED NY.”

The sign is owned by ADMAR Construction Equipment & Supplies, which told the HV Post that they are contracted to install the signs but that after that it’s “out of Admar’s control,” the paper reported Monday.

Police are investigating the incidents.
