#Upcoming Macross Delta and Macross Frontier Films Get Trailers, Release Date

The upcoming Macross Delta: ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!! movie and Macross Frontier F ~Toki no Meikyuu~ short film are set to release on October 8 in Japan. Trailers were also released for both anime, while a visual was also released for ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!!.

The ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!! trailer offers a look at a music performance, several shots of action, and a scene of Hayate Immelman and Freyja Wion. It also previews the song “Walküre wa Akiramenai” (“Walküre Doesn’t Give Up”) by the in-universe idol group Walkure. Meanwhile, the Toki no Meikyuu (Labyrinth of Time) trailer provides several cryptic scenes with appearances from Ranka Lee, Sheryl Nome, and Alto Saotome.

ZETTAI LIVE!!!!!! is a sequel to Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walküre, and will feature “a new story, new animation, and new songs.” The movie will see Walküre facing another idol unit called Yami_Q_ray, with the poster’s tagline and the trailer’s text suggesting that the fate of the galaxy is on the line. Meanwhile, Toki no Meikyuu appears to be a continuation of the Macross Frontier Movie: The Wings of Goodbye movie, which features a different ending from the Macross Frontier series.

Macross Delta originally aired in 2015, while the Macross Delta the Movie: Passionate Walküre compilation film was released in 2018. Meanwhile, Macross Frontier originally aired in 2008, while the Macross Frontier – Movie 1: The False Songstress and Macross Frontier Movie 2 : The Wings of Goodbye compilation movies were released in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
