Being transported to a magical fantasy world isn't all it's cracked up to be when it comes with a miserable mining job, and now a new teaser visual (below), the main cast, and the main staff have been revealed for The Dungeon of Black Company (known as Meikyuu Black Company in Japan), an upcoming TV anime based on the comic isekai manga by Youhei Yasumura about a lazy man who gets saddled with a lousy occupation when he's teleported to another world.
The main staff for The Dungeon of Black Company includes:
- Original work: Youhei Yasumura (serialized in Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden and MAGCOMI publications)
- Director: Mirai Minato
- Series composition: Deko Akao
- Character design: Yuki Sawairi
- Animation production: SILVER LINK.
The main cast of The Dungeon of Black Company includes:
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Kinji Ninomiya.
- Misaki Kuno as Rim.
- And Hiro Shimono as Wanibe.
An English language version of the original The Dungeon of Black Company manga is available from Seven Seas Entertainment, who describe the story of the series as follows:
Kinji, who lacks any kind of work ethic, is a layabout in his modern life. One day, he finds himself transported to another world–but not in a grand fantasy of a hero welcomed with open arms. He’s immediately shoved into a terrible job! Now enslaved by an evil mining company in a fantasy world, Kinji’s about to really learn the meaning of hard work!
