#TYPE LUMINA Releases Hisui and Kohaku Gameplay Preview

Upcoming 2D fighting game MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA has released a new gameplay preview, featuring the twin maids Hisui and Kohaku.

According to the video’s YouTube description, the sibling tag team sports a “varied and powerful technical fighting style.” Kohaku wields a broom, while Hisui uses her fists as well as more interesting attacks involving a chair and table, head butts, and even a sentient potted plant. 

The video describes Kohaku as “A young girl who brightens the Tohno residence with her smile,” while Hisui is “A quiet, yet deeply affectionate maid.”

Developed by French Bread, MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA is set to release on September 2021 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. It is the latest entry in the Melty Blood fighting game series, which is based on TYPE-MOON’s Tsukihime visual novel. The new title is described as being based on the upcoming Tsukihime remake, Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-.

MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA‘s website says that the game will have over 10 characters, upgraded visuals and HD environments, and a completely rebuilt and more modern-feeling battle system.
