Two similar notes were scrawled and posted over the last two weeks on storefronts that housed offices for New York Professional Nurses Union and Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright.
The tasteless language, which the Post is not printing, makes sexual references and alluded to harmful Jewish stereotypes.
“I am appalled by reports of anti-Semitic graffiti that was found scrawled on a building in the Upper East Side – the latest in a series of hateful acts that have taken place in the neighborhood over the past two weeks – and am directing the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to provide assistance to help bring these cowards to justice,” Cuomo said in a statement Thursday, which echoed prior public remarks.
Reports were filed with the NYPD over anti-Semitic graffiti.
