#Trump supporters across New York hold get-well rallies, parades

In a get-well effort of Trump-ian proportions, thousands of New Yorkers turned out Saturday to support the president as he battles COVID-19.

An estimated 2,500 Staten Islanders — many decked out in red, white, and blue — turned out for a rally at a Charleston shopping mall to bow their heads in prayer for President Trump and boost local Republicans.

“Today, thousands turned out to restore law and order, preserve the American Dream, stop socialism and to wish President Trump a speedy recovery,” GOP congressional candidate Nicole Malliotakis told The Post.

Meanwhile, some 700 flag-bedecked vehicles converged on Albany from all parts of the state for a pro-Trump caravan that at one point stretched for four miles along the New York State Thruway.

“People have it written all over their cars — ‘Get Well, President Trump,’” said Tina Forte of the Bronx, a conservative influencer who spoke to caravan drivers when they came off the road in the state capital. “No one should be wishing him any bad thoughts. Have a little respect.”

The procession was part of a nationwide campaign that saw drivers in 39 states hit the road Saturday for Trump-boosting parades dubbed “MAGA Drag the Interstate” — a successor to the Trump boat flotillas that jammed rivers, lakes and bays this summer.

“We’re just people who love this country and want to fly our flag without ridicule,” said organizer Zena Taliento of Staten Island.

“We’re here to say we’re not the silent majority anymore,” Forte said. “We are loud, and we are proud, and we support our president.”
