#Trump hits critical authors, including his ‘unstable niece’ and John Bolton

President Trump took a swipe at some of his critics who have published disparaging books about him recently — including his own niece.

“About the only way a person is able to write a book on me is if they agree that it will contain as much bad ‘stuff’ as possible, much of which is lies. It’s like getting a job with CNN or MSDNC and saying that “President Trump is great.” You have ZERO chance. FAKE NEWS!,” Trump said.

“Even whether it’s dumb warmongers like John Bolton, social pretenders like Bob Woodward, who never has anything good to say, or an unstable niece, who was now rightfully shunned, scorned and mocked her entire life, and never even liked by her own very kind & caring grandfather!” the president continued.

Both Bolton, Trump’s former National Security Advisor, and Woodward, a noted presidential historian, have served up searing polemics critical of his administration.

The latest round of tweets may have been inspired by Woodward’s new forthcoming (and likely critical) book about the Trump White House, which is scheduled for release on September 15.

In July meanwhile, Mary Trump, the daughter of the president’s older brother Fred Trump Jr., published a critical tell-all family memoir. Many of the book’s most disparaging details came from interviews with the president’s immediate family.

Over the last several days, Mary Trump has released secretly recorded audio of Donald Trump’s 83-year-old sister, Maryanne Trump Barry making disparaging comments about the president and his children Ivanka and Eric.
