President Trump addressed the shooting of Jacob Blake, which has been the subject of days of violent protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, this week.

The president was asked about the shooting after wrapping up a rally in New Hampshire Friday. He was asked point-blank if he believed the shooter was justified.

“I’m looking into it very strongly. I’ll be getting reports and I’ll certainly let you know pretty soon. But It was not a good sight. I didn’t like the sight of it certainly. And I think most people would agree with that,” Trump said.

Blake was shot and wounded by police as they were trying to arrest him, potentially leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Cops say he was armed with a knife and only shot after engaging in a violent altercation with officers. Police had been attempting to arrest him for violating a restraining order handed down after an alleged sexual assault.

The death has led to days of rioting and mayhem in yet another American city, and follows ongoing unrest in Portland, Washington D.C., Seattle and elsewhere.

On Wednesday two rioters were allegedly shot and killed by 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who now faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide and one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.”
