It’s a quack way to get around.

As heavy rains caused floods across southeast Texas on Sunday amid Tropical Storm Hanna, video showed some locals making the most of the wild weather — by tying rope to a giant inflatable duck, hitching it to their truck and chauffeuring kids through the neighborhood.

In the clip posted to Twitter by user @wizardofozma, a red pickup casually makes its way down a flooded residential street in Edinburg as three girls ride lazily along in the giant yellow duck-turned-boat.

“Only in the Valley! Poor man’s Venice,” the video caption says.

Meanwhile, in McAllen, Texas an impassable “canal” formed along at least one residential street, according to video posted by Twitter user @hashtagwarfreek.
