The NBA slapped a $50,000 tampering fine on Warriors star Draymond Green after his suggestive comments toward Suns All-Star Devin Booker.

As a guest analyst on an NBA on TNT broadcast Friday, Green urged Booker to leave Phoenix while discussing the Suns’ latest success in the bubble, adding that the city is “not good for him. It’s not good for his career.”

After news of the fine broke, Green posted six “rolling on the floor laughing” emojis on Twitter.

Following the Suns’ 119-112 win over the Heat Saturday, the team’s fifth in a row as the only undefeated squad in Orlando, Booker was asked about Green’s comments.

“I feel like that’s important for this organization, for the fans that have stuck by us for this long and still do so,” Booker said. “Since I’ve been in Phoenix, we haven’t had the win success that we had, but the support’s been there.

“And this is what we owe to the fans, we owe to the organization. It’s been a long time for us and I think this bubble opportunity was big for us, and we’re taking advantage of it.”

The NBA’s anti-tampering rule prohibits teams from interfering with other teams’ contractual relationships with players, including by publicly expressing interest in a player who is currently under contract with another team or informing the agent of another team’s player of interest.

After Green’s comments, TNT host Ernie Johnson asked Green deadpan if he was tampering.

“Maybe,” Green said.
