Travis Scott will return to festival stages this winter with three performances at Primavera Sound in South America, Pitchfork reports. The first show will take place in São Paulo, Brazil on November 6, with shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina (November 12) and Santiago, Chile (November 13) to follow.

The concerts will be the first time Scott performs for significant crowds since the Astroworld tragedy of November 2021 where a crowd crush killed 10 people and injured hundreds. Scott and Live Nation, the promoter behind the event, are currently facing a $750 billion dollar lawsuit launched by families of the victims.

Scott was removed as a headliner of Coachella 2022 soon after the incident. Kanye West, who was listed as a headliner for a time, claimed that he would bring Travis Scott to Coachella; soon after, West dropped out of the festival. The weekend of Coachella, Scott purchased billboard advertisements referencing his long-gestating album Utopia and performed a few songs at an afterparty.

Pitchfork reports that Scott is also scheduled to appear on May 7 at E11even Nightclub in Miami. Scott will only host the event, not perform at it, according to the website’s sources.

Last week, Scott appeared with Future on TM88’s song “Hold That Heat.”
