Tom Brady didn’t look too happy after his Tampa Bay Buccaneers debut did not go as planned on Sunday.

The six-time Super Bowl champion was spotted by the Fox camera appearing to scowl while sitting on the bench toward the end of the Buccaneers’ sloppy 34-23 loss to the Saints, and the meme-worthy image quickly made the rounds on social media.

The 43-year-old has a long history of wearing his emotions — both good and bad — and had plenty to be frustrated with on Sunday. He was picked off twice, once by safety Marcus Williams and once by former Giants cornerback Jenoris Jenkins, the latter of which was returned for a touchdown.

Brady finished the day 23 of 36 for 239 yards and two touchdowns, and was the team’s first scorer by way of a touchdown run on their first drive of the game.

“I’ve lost plenty of games in my career,” Brady said. “I know I don’t like it. But it happens. We just gotta do a better job.

“We didn’t do anything that great on offense today,” he said. “We made a few plays but, in the end, we’re all going to wish we had a lot of plays back. Certainly I do.”

Brady signed a two-year, $50 million deal (fully guaranteed) this March. He left behind a Patriots franchise that has dominated the NFL for the better part of two decades, for the Buccaneers, who have just two winning seasons this decade (2016, 2010).

The Buccaneers face the Carolina Panthers at home in Week 2.
