Publisher TO BOOKS announced on its Twitter account that the Sweet Reincarnation light novel series will be getting an anime adaptation.

The light novel series, written by Nozomu Koryu and illustrated by Yasuyuki Syuri, began in 2015 and will release its 21st volume on August 10, 2022. A manga adaptation written by Midori Tomizawa and drawn by Iida Seriko began in 2017 and will release its eighth tankoubon volume on August 16. The story began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2015.

J-Novel Club, which publishes the Sweet Reincarnation manga in North America, describes it as: 

“A pastry chef with a promising future is reborn as the son of a poor lord. The boy’s name is Pastry, and he will be the next lord of the territory. The struggles of young Pastry’s story begin here as he aims to make people smile with his desserts and create a land flourishing with happiness. The best sweet comes with the best tale. This is a sweet fantasy that takes the royal road to change the world!”
